There will be a variety of events in the Berkshires this weekend including community events, concerts, an animation showing, and more.

North Adams Beach Party 
Historic Eagle Street 
Time: Saturday, 3:30 to 10.
 
The city spreads more than 250,000 pounds of sand curb-to-curb along Eagle Street to create an urban beach. 
 
The family-friendly beach party on Saturday runs from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. followed by an adult-oriented fiesta, complete with margaritas served on the beach, from 7 to 10.

I Am a Part of Art
Clark Art Institute, Williamstown 
Lichtenstein Center for the Arts, Pittsfield 
 
Both these institutions will be displaying and selling paintings, drawings and sculptures by more than 150 Community Access to Art artists from across our community.
 
The Clark exhibit is open daily 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. The Lichtenstein Center's exhibit is open Wednesday through Friday from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.  and by appointment. 
 
The exhibit is in celebration of the talents of artists with disabilities. More information here
 
Summer Music Series
Catamount Mountain Resort, South Egremont
Time: 4:30 until 8 p.m. 
 
There will be a free performance by the Nate Martel Trio. There will be food and drinks available for purchase during the event. More information here
 
The Story of Crane Papermaking
Arrowhead, Pittsfield 
Time: 1 until 4:30 pm.
 
The Crane Museum of Papermaking and Berkshire County Historical Society are teaming up to highlight the art of paper making and its history in the Berkshires. 
 
During this free experience, attendees will get a chance to make paper and see demonstrations of anti-counterfeiting technology. A film from 1926 showing how paper was made inside the Bay State Mill is available for viewing, as is a mini-gift shop.

Movies Under the Stars
Adams Visitors Center

The Adams Events committee presents "Turning Red." Bring your own chairs and blankets to the lawn; seating opens at 7:30.
 
 
Saturday
 
Cheshire Summer Festival
Cheshire Community House
Time: 5 until 8 p.m.
 
The former Cheshire Block Party returns with a new name and a new vibe. The event features
performances by the Eddie Forman Orchestra and breakdancing from Funk Box Dance Studio performers. 
 
Ozzie's Food Truck will be on site providing some traditional Polish food in addition to his standard American fare. The event also features the Cheshire Corn Hole Cup, painting, balloon tying, a raffle, and more.

Mountain Day with the Whiskey Treaty Roadshow
Bousquet Mountain, Pittsfield
Time: 3 until 10:30 p.m.
 
This daylong family-friendly music event will feature vendors, food trucks, outdoor activities, and live music. 
 
Throughout the day each of the five bandmates from Whiskey Treaty Roadshow will be performing solo until they reassemble for the Main Stage concert in the evening.

The day starts with the 2nd Annual Berkshire Outdoor Recreation Summit from 1 to 3 p.m. This event is free and open to the public and Conservation and Recreation Commissioner Brian Arrigo will offer welcoming remarks remarks. Presenters include Berkshire Community Rowing, Berkshire Regional Planning Commission, the Hoosic River Watershed Association, Mass Audubon, the Western Mass Backcountry Alliance, and the Western Mass Climbing Coalition.
 
LaFesta Baseball Exchange
Joe Wolfe Field, North Adams
Time: 6 p.m. Saturday; 10 a.m. Sunday 
 
The 32nd edition of the exchange again will give youth baseball players from North County a chance to compete against their peers from Boston's North End. This year's event will kick off with opening ceremonies at 5:30 on Saturday. Come down and cheer the kids.

Bring a chair and experience an afternoon of music, food, raffles, and more. Musicians Bernice Lewis and Heather Pierson Duo will be performing. All proceeds will go to the Alzheimer's Association. More information here

Powered by Roots Rising, the market is open every Saturday rain or shine.
