PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Due to underground utility work conducted by Eversource, temporary traffic restrictions will be in place on North Street, at the Linden Street/Maplewood Avenue intersection, beginning on Thursday, Oct. 26.

 

This work is expected to continue over the next several weeks. While this work is underway, the city encourages drivers to seek alternate routes and follow the designated signs.

 

Traffic travelling on North Street, northbound, will be restricted from turning left onto Linden Street. Traffic will be allowed to travel through the intersection to continue north and will be able to turn right onto Maplewood Avenue.

 

Traffic travelling on North Street, southbound, will be restricted from turning right onto Linden Street. Traffic will be allowed to travel through the intersection to continue south and will be able to turn left onto Maplewood Avenue.

 

Traffic travelling on Maplewood Avenue, westbound, will be restricted from travelling straight to Linden Street. Traffic will be allowed to turn left and right onto North Street.

 

Traffic travelling on Linden Street, eastbound, will be restricted from turning left onto North Street. Traffic will be allowed to travel through the intersection onto Maplewood Avenue and will be able to turn right onto North Street.

 

On-street parking, in front of 461 North Street, is prohibited during this work.
