PITTSFIELD, Mass.— The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing that daytime paving operations will be taking place on Merrill Road (Route 9) in Pittsfield.

 

Paving will take place from the intersection of East Street to the intersection of Junction Road. Work will begin on Monday, Sept. 23, and continue through Friday, Sept. 27, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day. 

 

Lane closures and lane shifts will be in place during work hours.

 

Appropriate signage and messaging will be in place to guide drivers through the work area.

 

Drivers traveling through the affected area should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.

 

All scheduled work is weather dependent and subject to change without notice.
