PITTSFIELD, Mass.— In recognition of Energy Efficiency Day, the Sponsors of Mass Save announced Berkshire Family YMCA has been recognized as a 2024 Mass Save Climate Leader for their outstanding energy-efficient upgrades.
This recognition was granted to 19 Massachusetts organizations that have demonstrated long-term commitments to reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions with the support and incentives the Mass Save program offers.
Berkshire Family YMCA completed the following projects:

Fully replaced their steam boiler load with an extensive VRF heat pump system.

Completed several other large-scale projects, as well as other measures that aided in securing the building envelop

These projects combined are estimated to have saved over 16,000 therms.
