PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Greylock Federal Credit Union is hosting an interactive Zoom webinar 6-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 14, highlighting trending scams as well as tools and tips to avoid being scammed.

"Scammers are in full force these days," said Cindy Shogry-Raimer, Greylock's vice president and director of community development. "They use phone calls, mail, email, text messages, social media, and even go door to door to steal your identity and your money."

The webinar will feature actual fraudulent recordings, email and text samples. The conversation will also share next steps on what to do if you become a victim of a scam.

"Knowledge is your best defense," Shogry-Raimer said. "This is a conversation you don't want to miss."

This webinar is free and open to the public. To register, visit www.greylock.org/CEC.
