PITTSFIELD, Mass. – The Arlington, Mass., All-Stars Saturday rallied for four runs in the bottom of the seventh to earn a 5-4 win over Pittsfield at the Babe Ruth New England Regional Championship.
Jasper Chung singled to left with two out to drive in the tying and winning runs as the Eastern Massachusetts runners-up improved to 2-0 at the regional.
Jacob Knauth and Cooper Reed each had a hit and an RBI for Pittsfield, which took a 4-0 lead in the top of the second.
Reed started on the mound and threw three scoreless innings in the loss.
PIttsfield (0-2) will finish pool play and play for a berth in the tournament quarter-finals on Sunday at 7 p.m. when it faces Rhode Island State Champion North Providence (0-2), a 10-1 loser to Stamford, Conn., on Saturday.
