Post 68-1 Senior Legion Team Walks Off Win Against SheffieldiBerkshires.com Sports, 03:33PM / Sunday, June 29, 2025 | | PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Dominic Marcella drew a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the seventh Sunday to give the Pittsfield Post 68-1 American Legion Baseball team a 7-6 win over Sheffield Post 340. Ben Jacob started the winning rally with a single to right, and Gavin O’Donnell singled to left to put runners at the corners. Sheffield opted to intentionally walk Jack Abel (1-for-3, triple, three RBIs), bringing Marcella to the plate with a chance to end it. Post 68 rallied for six runs in the bottom of the fifth to erase a 5-0 deficit and take a one-run lead. During its meeting in May, commissioners voted to purchase the a desktop version of the software for $870. It was highlighted that if they join the American Association for State and Local History, which has a membership fee of $100, the software cost would be discounted to $696. DALTON, Mass. — The Central Berkshire Regional School District will soon have new leadership, but the community-centered mindset on which the district was founded will remain the same. PITTSFIELD, Mass. — The city is planning a preliminary election in September to narrow the fields for City Council and School Committee based on the projected number of candidates for several seats. As of now, the preliminary will include races for councilor at large, Ward 2 and Ward 6. Several potential councilors have had their papers certified, and the School Committee has more than 10 potential candidates. The preliminary election will be on Tuesday, Sept. 16, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and the general election on Tuesday, Nov. 4.
