Be advised that the following street improvements are scheduled from July 7 to July 11: Apron installation on Daniels Avenue, Newell Street, Meadow Lane and Joseph Drive On-street parking, for the above streets, is prohibited during this work between the hours of 6 a.m.- 6 p.m. In addition, MassDOT will be conducting the following work: July 7 - July 8: paving will occur on First Street July 9 - July 11: paving will occur on South Street Use caution when traveling on these roads. Under the proposed ordinance, Pride and Juneteenth flags are safe. On Monday, the Ordinances and Rules subcommittee supported guidelines that allow Pittsfield's flag, the United States and commonwealth flags, flags of other nations recognized by the U.S. government, and flags commemorating significant events or causes consistent with the city's values and mission. PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Stella has spent eight long months preparing for her forever family and is eager to leave the Berkshire Humane Society. iBerkshire's Companion Corner is a weekly series spotlighting an animal in our local shelters that is ready to find a home. Canine caregiver and adoption counselor Simone Olivieri told us about Stella. Stella is a little over a year old, weighs 50 pounds, and is a Labrador mix. She has been at the shelter for eight months. "Stella loves to go for walks. She likes to go for hikes, be outdoors. She's very adventurous. She walks very nicely on the leash too.
