Berkshire Art Association 10x10 Real Art Party Call for Art

PITTSFIELD, Mass. — The Berkshire Art Association (BAA) is seeking donations of original artwork for their annual 10x10 RAP (Real Art Party) show and fundraiser drawing.    In collaboration with the Clock Tower Artists and the City of Pittsfield's 10x10 Festival in February, the BAA welcomes submissions from artists from the Berkshires and beyond. All artwork will be included in an event to benefit art students of Berkshire County. Winners of Ninth Berkshire Theatre Awards Announced

PITTSFIELD, Mass. — The Board of the Berkshire Theatre Critics Association (BTCA) has presented the 2025 Berkshire Theatre Critics Awards, colloquially known as The Berkies, on Monday, Nov. 10, at Zion Lutheran Church in Pittsfield.

This is the ninth time in ten years that these awards have been presented to honor and celebrate the excellence and diversity of theatre in the greater Berkshire region.

PHS and Shakespeare & Company Announce Collaborative 'Hamlet' Production

PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Pittsfield High School’s Proteus, in collaboration with Shakespeare & Company, has announced a joint production of William Shakespeare’s tragedy, "Hamlet."   The production features a student-led creative team, including directors Darius Journigan and Naire Poole, costume designer Michelle Hathaway, and production designer Alec Westmoreland.    The show is scheduled for a limited run of three performances across two locations. BSO, Boston Dedicate 'Seiji Ozawa Square'

Eagles Band's Free Concert Has Military Theme

PITTSFIELD, Mass. — The Eagles Concert Band is bringing a free concert at the Colonial Theatre on Friday, Nov. 7.   This is the band's 18th year performing at the Colonial. New principal conductor David Diggs said he has decided to perform music from composer John Philip Sousa, but not his famous marches.    "One of the ones that I think is very unique to the program is we're going to be playing Sousa, but we're not going to be playing a Sousa march. Berkshire County Historical Society Offers: Talks, Teas and Toddles
