PITTSFIELD, Mass. — A used-car dealership has been shut down because of alleged misconduct.

Manager Breana ONeil attributed it to a former employee, Devon Fitts. Last year, Fitts' dealership D&K Affordable Motors surrendered its license after being accused of forgery for the second time.

PITTSFIELD, Mass. — An old name will soon open in the former Tahiti Takeout on Wahconah Street.

On Monday, the Licensing Board approved a Keno license for Hudpuckers and the owner reported that they plan to open in about a month. The name is a nod to Bobby Hudpuckers, a popular eatery that closed more than 10 years ago.

"Formerly, Tahiti Takeout was one of the most popular Keno spots in Berkshire County so we’ve got to have Keno, we’ve got to bring it back," manager Justin Martin said.

"So that's that's a goal to try and kind of revitalize the Keno there and hopefully we can make it bigger, if not what it was before."

Yondr pouches lock digital devices so they can't be used during school.  DALTON, Mass. — The Central Berkshire Regional School Committee is still mulling over introducing Yondr pouches to its middle and high schools.   The goal of the policy change is to help students be more engaged in school and to prevent students from taking videos of their peers without permission and spreading them around, the school committee said during its June meeting.    School Committee Chair Richard Peters said at last week's meeting that although it is likely that the committee will be in favor, a vote was not on the agenda and the matter was postponed to the next
