 PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Four years in and still swinging for the fences, the Striking out Cancer in the Berkshires fund-raiser returns on Saturday, June 29, at Clapp Park. The all-day baseball and women’s softball games are the brainchild of city resident Joe DiCicco, who conceived the event as a way to raise money to support the Jimmy Fund for cancer research and patient care at Boston’s Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.  CHESHIRE, Mass. -- Will Grega struck out 13 in a perfect game on the mound Sunday to lead the Berkshire Bandits to a 3-0 win over the North County Kraken in a first-place battle in the Berkshire Adult Baseball League.  PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Pittsfield Girls Softball will host the New England Babe Ruth Regional Tournament at the Doyle Softball Complex from June 28 to June 30. The tournament will feature 15 teams, including the Berkshire Force 12-and-under and 14-and-under travel squads.
